Workshop Location
The workshop will be held at ClubMed Lindeman Island, situated in the Whitsunday Islands off the east coast of Queensland, half way between Brisbane and Cairns. Lindeman Island is a short (30 min) trip from Hamilton Island by ferry (included in registration). Although flying to Hamilton is preferable, the ferry from Shute Harbour on the mainland to Hamilton Island (30 min) is also covered in the cost of registration.
Club Med is the only resort on the island, so accommodation is included in the registration because there is nowhere else to stay. The bonus of this is that the resort provides an ideal environment for scientific discussion. It also offers beautiful surrounds such as nearly 700 hectares of national park with great walking tracks. The resort offers many free recreational activities such as swimming, diving, fishing, sailing, and even its own golf course with stunning sunsets on the 8th green.
